Qualification Requirements
- Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Successful candidates are required to demonstrate an ability to undertake independent research leading to impactful outcomes, such as publication in high-quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines. Meanwhile, they are also expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Outstanding Young Talents Programme (Overseas) for 2025
Qualification Requirements
Applicants should:
- abide by laws of the People’s Republic of China and have good ethics in science
- be born after 1 January, 1985
- have obtained a doctoral degree
- have research interests mainly in science and technology, and related disciplines
- prior to 15 March 2025, have no less than three years’ continuous research or teaching experience outside China in a prestigious university or R&D institute
- be living outside or haven’t returned to Mainland China before 1 January, 2024 and willing to work full time for three years in Mainland China with no other full-time employments outside China
Benefits
1. Salary:
- Competitive salary (similar to Hong Kong Baptist University)
- Those eligible will be granted relevant subsidies from Guangdong province and Zhuhai totally 1,750,000 CNY
- For those obtained government subsidies, relocation allowance and other subsidies will be granted by the College: 1,000,000 CNY to 2,000,000 CNY
- Those eligible may apply for Talents Subsidy of Greater Bay Area
2. Research Fund:
- 1,000,000 CNY to 3,000,000 CNY supported by NSFC
- Provide laboratory space, office, support to build up innovative research team, etc.
3. Other supports:
- Provide support for admitting graduate students
- Provide housing allowance and staff residential apartments in the future
- Provide children’s education assistance
- Help with applying for High-level Talent’s Card of Guangdong and enjoy one-stop talent services of Guangdong province and Zhuhai
- Provide support to obtain the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card
- Provide supplementary commercial insurance
Academic Support
Qualification Requirements
- Applicants should possess a master’s degree in related fields
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Evidence of good critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
