The College of Medicine at Taipei Medical University invites applications for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position in Department of A Molecular Parasitology and Tropical Diseases, School of Medicine.

Job Description

Taipei Medical University is looking for a motivated member with Ph.D. degree with outstanding academic achievements in the field relating to Parasitology, Tropical Medicine, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline, who will contribute to our international research profile in a cross-disciplinary environment. The new appointee will be based at the College of Medicine at Taipei Medical University.

Salary

$82,360NTD~ $198,240NTD per month + benefits

Selection Criteria Qualifications

1. Ph.D. with outstanding academic achievements in the field relating to Parasitology, Tropical Medicine, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline
2. A successful candidate will have at least 1-year post-doctoral experience in facility located at overseas, excluding at Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
3. Candidate with at least published 2 publications as the first author or corresponding author within the previous 5 years is required
4. A successful candidate is required to travel to African countries for short-term projects
5. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in Medical or Human Parasitology and demonstrate a proven track record of high-profile publications
6. Demonstrated ability to apply for research grants, with research experiences in conducting large projects, in writing research projects, and independent research will be advantageous
7. Passion for teaching and talent cultivation
8. Exhibits great communication skills, teamwork ability, and capacities in international exchange and cooperation
9. Excellent English proficiency and research enthusiasm, good communication with well-developed interpersonal skills
