The Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), the first innovative liberal arts institution in China, has consistently led the way in educational reform. It has evolved into a paradigmatic institution for higher education collaboration within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, garnering considerable influence both domestically and internationally. The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers undergraduate programmes in Applied Mathematics and Financial Mathematics. The department has also secured approval from the Ministry of Education to provide research-oriented master's and doctoral degree programs in Mathematics. In 2023, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS) granted UIC the authorization to establish a postdoctoral station in Mathematics. Over the past three years, the Department of Mathematical Sciences has rapidly assembled a high-caliber international scientific research team. The department currently boasts a faculty of 24 full-time teachers, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, one national-level high-level young talent, one provincial-level high-level outstanding talent, and one provincial-level high-level leading talent. Each faculty member holds a doctoral degree and has accumulated experience in overseas scientific research.

1. The College collaborates with relevant governmental departments, preponderant disciplines, supervisors, and university-local authority cooperation platforms to build a new postdoctoral support system for postdoctoral fellows. A comprehensive annual salary ranges from 300,000 CNY to 450,000 CNY;
2. Allowances of maximum 150,000 CNY from governments at all levels;
