Beijing Normal University – Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) invites applications for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Sport, Health and Communication, which is expected to be filled in February 2025:
Job Description
1. The candidate would be responsible for teaching two or three postgraduate courses. These courses include Sport Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sports and Exercise for General and Special Populations, and Research Methods.
2. The candidate is expected to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This includes supervising student projects.
3. The candidate would be responsible for managing the Exercise and Health Laboratory and the Digital Sports Research Center.
4. The candidate would also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the school or program management.
Job Requirement
1. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Sport Biomechanics or a related field.
2. Candidates who are ABD (All but dissertation) are also considered.
3. The candidate should exhibit a strong research background or potential in the related area.
4. Preference is given to candidates with overseas degrees.
