Job Description:  

Applications are invited for the Post of Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) for the VIT–IAMRAI Collaborative Projects on Paediatric cardiac healthcare technologies in the School of Healthcare Science and Engineering (SHINE), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.

Title of the Project:

“3D Object Viewer and Image Fusion Development (VR/AR and Desktop Platforms)”

Qualification:

PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on image processing, registration, and fusion.

Describe if any:

Proficiency in Unity and C# or C++ for implementing 3D visualization and interaction. Background in medical imaging software development (e.g., ITK/VTK, 3D Slicer) and familiarity with handling medical imaging formats such as DICOM. Expertise in image processing libraries and tools relevant to medical imaging and VR/AR applications.  

Stipend:

Rs. 60,000/- per month, stipend will be as per Institute norms.
