MU and Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) are currently engaged in a collaborative project to develop the nature, scope and scale of a strategic engagement between the two institutions. We are seeking a project manager to support the Maynooth University aspects of this collaboration.

The person will report to the Deputy President and their activities will involve:

• Developing detail of a possible agreement between MU and DkIT on strategic engagement.
• Establishing a Regional Graduate Academy to collaborate in doctoral education.
• Scoping of potential provision of MU awards for NFQ level 8 and 9 students in DkIT in the context of quality assurance, market and financial implications.
• Enhancing research collaborations.
• Investigating opportunities for development of new joint academic programmes.
• Supporting strategic development in both MU and DkIT in areas of mutual benefit aligned to the strategic direction of both institutions.

Salary

Administrative Offer I (2024): €57,484 – €82,017 p.a. (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
