Research Assistant Professor in Accounting, Economics or Finance (23241153)
HKBU is a prestigious international research university located in one of Asia's most vibrant cities. The Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance at HKBU is committed to excellence in research and teaching, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for its young faculty members.
The Department is inviting applications for Research Assistant Professor in Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Applications in all fields will be considered. We particularly welcome candidates with expertise in auditing, data analytics, applied microeconomics, the digital economy, Fintech and derivatives.
Candidates must have obtained a relevant Ph.D. degree by 30 June 2025 and should demonstrate the potential to excel in both research and teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to three years.
The salary offered is highly competitive. The remuneration package includes retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme wherever appropriate.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
