About the Role

Flinders University is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join the Academic Quality and Enhancement team as a Curriculum Services Officer!

In this fundamental role, you will work in the Curriculum Management team and support the creation and management of the Universities curriculum data. As the Curriculum Services Officer, you will ensure that curriculum changes are high-quality, timely, and student focused.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining curriculum data in the Curriculum Management System and Student Management System in accordance with university policies and procedures.
  • Providing course and topic data reports to support the Internal Course Accreditation process.
  • Identifying and compiling relevant data to enable effective delivery of Curriculum Management projects.

About You

You will have excellent and experienced written and verbal communication skills, which allows you to clearly communicate trends in data and create reports. Your organisation and informed problem-solving skills will be the key to your success as you demonstrate your ability to exercise judgment to establish priorities and meet critical deadlines.

As the Curriculum Services Officer, you will also demonstrate:

  • Experience in using Curriculum Management System (or similar) to maintain and report data.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to process large amounts of data accurately.
  • Familiarity with relevant higher education legislative requirements, standards and trends.
  • Demonstrated effective to well-developed written and oral communications skills including the ability to clearly communicate trends in data and create reports.

About the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students) Portfolio

The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement was formed in 2023 and is led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality and Enhancement). In addition to Curriculum Services the Office is also responsible for Student Policy and Integrity Services, Quality and Enhancement and Academic Quality, Compliance and Risk functions. The Curriculum Services team is a newly established team within the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement.

The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement is within the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students). This Portfolio provides support to key strategic and operational functions of the University’s student-related and academic services. Under the general portfolio, the Office team support Portfolio leadership and facilitate dialogue between key service areas to help the Portfolio ensure Flinders’ educational offerings are innovative, of assured quality, and are student centred.
