Job Description

We invite particularly candidates with specializations in:

- TESOL, English language education;

- Linguistics;

- United States and British literatures, literary theory, and theater and drama studies.

 

Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Successful candidates are required to demonstrate promise and/or substantial production as a scholar as evidenced by publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines. Meanwhile, they are also expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Benefits and Appointment Terms
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
