We are seeking a highly motivated colleague to join the Pre-sessional Lifecycle & Learning Opportunities Team. We are a collegiate and friendly team who are responsible for the administrative support of the University’s pre-sessional courses; Lifelong Learning; Southampton Language Opportunities and English for Academic Purposes. You will need to be a team player, as this is essential to us and the success of all of the programmes we deliver.
We are seeking someone who enjoys a challenge whilst striving for excellent customer service. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. During our peak periods we ensure the smooth student journey from admissions to results for 2,000 international students who choose to complete a pre-sessional course with us.
You will have:
- Proven experience of working in an administrative role;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to independently organise your own work whilst supporting the wider team to prioritise conflicting workloads at peak times;
- Up to date MS Office Skills, with a high level of Excel knowledge;
- Good inter-personal skills with experience of working collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders;
- Previous Line Management/Mentoring of an administrative team;
This is a hybrid role, with at least two days spent at our Avenue Campus per week. Applications will be considered for a job share.
