The Department of Psychology (http://www.LN.edu.hk/psy/) builds on the strengths of faculty in the field of positive occupational health psychology, human-computer interactions, and cross-cultural psychology. In line with the liberal arts tradition of the University, the Department is also strongly committed to providing high quality teaching and a supportive learning environment to students.
General Requirements
The Business Psychology Programme is looking for a full-time instructor to teach undergraduate psychology courses. The appointee is expected to teach a broad range of subjects for the programme, including Negotiation, Judgement, and Decision Making in Organizations, Introduction to Consumer Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Psychological Testing and Assessment, etc. The appointee will have to provide support to the operation of the Programme, including programme promotion and student recruitment.
Applicants should have a PhD Degree in relevant fields in Psychology. Relevant experience in teaching courses related to work and organizational psychology, research methods and statistics is highly preferred.
Appointment
The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years.
