An exciting opportunity is available for a HE06 Senior Talent Acquisition Officer that is passionate and customer-centric in their approach to talent acquisition to join our team. Our goal is for the University of Adelaide to be a Magnet for Talent; and this role is an important contributor in us working together to achieve that.
Based in the CBD, our Talent Acquisition Team partners with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels across our many academic, research & professional specialist areas in recruiting for the University of Adelaide. Where else can you be part of a dynamic talent acquisition team recruiting for roles as diverse as Veterinary Nurses, Financial Accountants, Cancer Researchers, Lecturers, Institute Directors, to give you just a few examples. No two days are the same!

The HR Branch is within the Division of University Operations and serves a client base of approximately 8,000 staff and 2,700 titleholders, across all campuses of the University.
The aspiration of Human Resources (HR) is to partner with the University to enable and support a culture of high engagement, commitment and performance by staff through relevant policies and frameworks; context-specific capability development and coaching; and efficient, timely, consistent and fit for purpose advice and services across the full scope of HR functions.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition activities in a complex environment with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience and user support in utilising recruitment systems, tools and applicant tracking systems and in supporting other users to be able to access and action tasks
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills to enable effective communication across a large and complex organization with a diverse range of clients.
- An understanding of relevant employee relations and industrial relations legislation, as it relates to talent acquisition, and an ability to apply this knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret recruitment policy and relate it to recruitment activities.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
