Applicants are invited for the post of Teaching Assistant in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530441) (to commence from as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above, with an interest or focus in the multidimensional nature of health. Preference will be given to those with small group teaching experience and proficiency in using Moodle, the university course management system. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, and ability to converse in Cantonese would be helpful.
The appointee will be responsible for the administration, preparation of teaching materials, facilitation of tutorials and other teaching support for a Common Core Curriculum course on health and wellbeing. He/she will also assist with other undergraduate teaching activities in the Department. This is a full-time position. A salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical/dental benefits.
