Department of Special and Inclusive Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University prepares students to be qualified in the field of special education and intervention of children and adults with special educational needs in schools and medical service, social service, and the institutions of the Ministry of Justice. Department of Special education cooperates with foreign universities for a long time in teaching and research.
YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant or Assistant Professor will perform activities related to the pedagogical and scientific aspects of the academic profession:
- Participation in the conduction of seminars and other forms of pedagogical activities in studying programmes for Special education, Speech Therapy,
- supervision of bachelor and thesis of a non-diploma programme study,
- participation in the development of the scientific field of Special education Speech therapy,
- participation in carrying out scientific and research work as a team member, incl. publications in professional and scientific journals,
- preparing for the start (graduate) of the PhD studying programme in Special Education,
- participates in the operation of the department,
- cooperates with students to ensure voluntary activities to support the aim group of special needs education.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
Professional education and qualifications experience:
- University degree in a Master´s program in Special education,
- ability to teach in the Czech language (minimum level C1 or native speaker),
- ability to teach students in English,
- publications in the field of special education.
Other knowledge and skills: (required)
- Knowledge of MS office (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), data and information management, ability to work with digital technologies (MS Teams, ZOOM, etc.),
- flexibility and willingness to participate in quality pre-graduate studying programmes students,
- teamwork skills, ability to work independently, responsibility,
- good organization and communication skills, proactivity,
- participate in projects and research.
