The key position responsibilities of the Campus Safety and Security Supervisor will include (but is not limited to):
- Overseeing and supervising the daily operations of security staff and contracted staff, ensuring all security protocols and procedures are followed.
- Providing training and support to security staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

About You
The successful candidate will need to have experience in supervising and overseeing security officers and operations. A vital part of the role will be supervising, training and supporting the on-campus security staff, and ensuring they are informed and educated at a high-enough level to follow all security protocols and procedures.
This position will report to the Campus Safety and Security Manager located at the Bedford Park campus, so the successful candidate will need to be someone who is autonomous and ready to make the role their own; willing to be the face of security at our Campuses and ensure its smooth operation on a day-to-day basis. A key aspect of delivering these outcomes will be the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with University internal stakeholders, external security groups, emergency services and law enforcement agencies. This will require a ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to operate well under pressure.
