Applications are now being accepted for the positions of Adjunct Associate Professor, Adjunct Assistant Professor, and Part-time Hourly-paid Lecturer in the Division of Landscape Architecture (multiple openings) (Ref. 530457).  Appointments will begin in January 2025 for a duration of one semester or an academic year, with the potential for renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance.

The Division of Landscape Architecture is renowned globally for its rigorous and dynamic teaching environment.  Our faculty is a diverse group of international scholars and professionals who bring a wide range of interests and backgrounds to the program.  Adjunct instructors play a vital role in our teaching team, contributing to the delivery of current content, interdisciplinary viewpoints, innovative learning experiences, and connections to professional practice.  Further information about the Division can be found at https://www.arch.hku.hk/programmes_/dla/

We are currently seeking applicants for both our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to teach courses such as Landscape Design Studio, Fundamental Landscape Representation, and Advanced Media and Computational Fabrication.  Candidates should hold an advanced degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.  They must demonstrate a track record of teaching excellence or maintain a distinguished design practice.  International experience in education or practice is preferred.  For part time hourly paid positions, applicants must process a valid permit to work in Hong Kong.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.

The University accepts online applications for the above posts.  Applicants should apply online and upload a statement of interest, up-to-date C.V., and a portfolio of teaching and practice (less than 10MB).  Reference contacts may be sought after candidate shortlisting.  Review of applications will commence as soon as possible and continue until 29 November, 2024 or until the posts are filled, whichever is earlier.
