Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) offers multi-disciplinary BA and MA programmes, broadly covering the history, theory and expression of visual art, moving images, material culture and the development of creative industries in Hong Kong, China and beyond.
BA in Animation and Digital Arts Programme under Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries is looking for a specialist in Arts and Technology with solid art background to teach the animation and digital arts courses.

Responsibility and Requirements
The appointee is expected to generate research or creative outputs with high impact and teach a board range of subjects, covering 2D and 3D animation, VR, animation history, interactive media and computer arts. Applicants should have a PhD Degree in relevant fields and demonstrate expertise in Arts and Technology plus at least one of the following areas:
1. Interactive Arts
2. Expanded Reality
Candidates are required to provide information about their research records and evidence of high-quality teaching in relevant subjects. The applicant should also have experience in curriculum design and teaching, as well as good track record of publications or creative outputs. Proficiency in Chinese and English is essential.
Appointment
The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, research leave, conference leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee. The appointee is entitled to apply for both internal and external grants in support of his/her teaching, research and conference activities.
Appointment will normally be made on an initial contract of three years, which, subject to review and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment with possibility of consideration for substantiation.
