About the Role
We are seeking a Facilities Support Officer to provide exceptional front-line support to students, staff, and stakeholders across our rural campuses and student accommodation facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a positive campus experience, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment.
You will oversee the daily operations of our rural campuses, including conducting Work Health and Safety (WHS) orientations, responding to student accommodation inquiries, and managing inspections and changeovers. Additionally, you'll maintain campus inventories, coordinate the purchase of supplies, and ensure the maintenance of region-based fleet vehicles.
The position will be situated at the Victor Harbor Campus and the incumbent will be required to live in the region.
About You
To be successful in this role you will exhibit:
- Completion of a diploma or Certificate IV with relevant work experience, or a combination of relevant experience and training
- Customer service skills and experience in a front-line customer service environment where a positive, engaged and solution-focused approach is required
- Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with team members, including staff across Rural and Remote Health and the wider University
- Effective computer literacy including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and applications
- Ability to use discretion with confidential and sensitive information
- Familiarity with the implications of living in rural and remote environments.

Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas.
