We maintain and develop some amazing green spaces and directly contribute towards the student and staff experience by providing a diverse range of outdoor spaces. A virtual tour will give you a glimpse into life on our Highfield Campus.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated Landscape Operative who has experience and a passion for horticulture. You will be a team player with a "can do" approach to delivering our services, with practical knowledge and skills in the use of horticultural maintenance machinery. You will have a City & Guilds Level 1 (Amenity horticulture) or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or relevant work experience. You will hold a full UK driving licence and PA1 & PA6 spraying qualification, while MO1/MO6 tractor driving with front loader qualification would be advantageous.

What we can offer you

We support a flexible approach to work, as well as additional benefits that will make your life easier, such as a generous holiday allowance, access to a university pension scheme, subsidised health and fitness facilities and a range of discounts. Furthermore, the University is a fantastic place to work – regardless of what life stage you are at, you will be a valued member of our team.

We are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity. We encourage applications from candidates from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, people who identify as LGBTQ+; and people with disabilities.
