About the opportunity:

Are you passionate about making a difference in environmental health? We’re on the lookout for dedicated and innovative Post-Doctoral Researchers to join our dynamic team at the HEAL Global Research Centre for Healthy Environments and Lives.

Dive into groundbreaking research in areas like environmental epidemiology, climate change risk assessment, air pollution exposure analysis, air quality modeling, atmospheric modelling, environmental sustainability, or life cycle analysis.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct independent, cutting-edge research and publish your findings in top-tier scientific journals.
  • Present your work at prestigious academic seminars and international conferences.
  • Collaborate with leading researchers and stakeholders globally.
  • Take charge of project delivery on externally funded projects.
  • Supervise and mentor postgraduate students at the Masters or PhD level.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A PhD in environmental health, environmental epidemiology, climate or atmospheric modelling, life cycle analysis or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Proven experience in environmental health and/or climate change research, with a knack for translating research into impactful policy and practice.
  • A strong track record of securing competitive external funding.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to foster productive relationships with staff, students, and stakeholders.
