Job Description

Candidates should be able to teach General Education foundational courses in the category of History and Civilization and can contribute to the research of related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with specializations in one or more of the following areas:

  • World Civilization
  • Future Development of Civilization
  • Culture and Civilization
  • Chinese Civilization (past, present and future)
  • Philosophy and Civilization
  • IT and AI Civilization

Job Requirement

Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to impactful outcomes, such as publication in high-quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and other types of scholarly work as appropriate & recognized by their disciplines. Meanwhile, they are also expected to have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
