Duties and Responsibilities
- work on impactful epidemiology and/or health economics projects involving medication safety, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, decision analytics and AI-driven health technology assessment
- provide statistical support on multiple research themes in autoimmune diseases, cardiology, psychiatry, oncology and infectious diseases (minor)
- assist in drafting project report and lead original research article submission
- work with a diverse and dynamic team
- perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- a Ph.D. degree and a strong research background in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Data Science or a related field
- have knowledge of Pharmacoepidemiology and/or Pharmacoeconomics
- demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers
- high level of expertise in analysis of large and complex datasets
- excellent quantitative and analytic skills
- good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- strong communication and writing skills
- self-motivated and hardworking
- able to work well in an interdisciplinary team

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
