Assistant Lecturer (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 530070) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related discipline, and be a holder of the Certificate of Registration (Part I) and valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration local clinical experience. Preference will be given to those with higher academic qualifications and clinical teaching experience. They should have strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently and as a team; and the capacity to work under pressure and multitask. Those who are qualified as Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) will be offered the title of Advanced Practice Nurse.
The appointees will report to the Chairman of the Teaching and Learning Committee. They will be responsible for teaching, conducting tutorials, and providing practical and clinical supervision in Nursing. They may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
