The Faculty of Education invites applications for the position of Full/Associate Professor in Educational Psychology.

The Faculty of Education offers Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. programmes in various areas of education, hosting a group of nationally and internationally known faculty members engaged in the discovery, application, and dissemination of new knowledge. Qualifications

Applicants should have: (a) a doctoral degree in educational psychology or a closely related field; (b) a solid program of research as shown in a track record of high-quality research related to educational psychology, as evidenced in publications in top SSCI/SCI indexed journals; (c) commitment and ability to successfully mentor graduate students; (d) a global reputation for excellence in research in educational psychology as well as an excellent national and international collaborative research profile in this field; (e) demonstrated ability to teach educational psychology-relevant courses within undergraduate and/or graduate preparation programs; and (f) quality experience in leading and developing educational psychology programmes at the undergraduate and/or the postgraduate level. Good knowledge of education systems of Macao and Greater China regions will be a plus.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in/before August 2025.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,250,200 (approximately USD154,350) for the position of Full Professor, MOP1,052,800 (approximately USD129,980) for the position of Associate Professor will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
