- The Economics Department at the UWA Business School is looking for candidates in any field of Economics, but we are particularly interested in Financial Economics, Econometrics, Applied Economics, Macroeconomics, and International Economics.

About the area
The UWA Business School, ranked among the top Business Schools in Australia (3rd in 2022, 4th in 2023 by the AFR), has approximately 100 academic staff and 5000 students, offering undergraduate, master, MBA, and PhD degrees (https://www.uwa.edu.au/schools/Business). About the opportunity
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in Economics to produce impactful publications in top-tier journals.
- Deliver excellent teaching experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Represent the University in professional settings and promote inclusion and diversity initiatives.
About you
- PhD in Economics or related field, complete or near completion.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake forefront economics research and publish in highly regarded international peer-reviewed economics journals.
- Evidence of excellent teaching at the University level.
- Willingness to contribute collaboratively to academic governance and department administrative matters.
