Job description
Are you passionate about empowering experienced professionals to become the next generation of influential business leaders? Our growing Business School seeks a Senior Lecturer to lead, develop, and deliver exceptional MBA programmes that combine academic rigour with practical, career-focused learning. This role offers the opportunity to design inclusive and engaging curricula, foster student success, and manage the programme’s administration and quality assurance. You would also play an integral part in the foundation of future MBA programmes at University College Birmingham.
In this role, you will drive innovation in learning and teaching, collaborating with external partners in building and promoting a strong programme, and supporting student work-based projects. You’ll also mentor colleagues, contribute to the department’s strategic goals, and engage in curriculum development to keep the MBA relevant and forward-looking.
We are looking for candidates with proven teaching experience in Higher Education Business Schools, relevant industry expertise, strong communication skills, and strategic planning abilities. A postgraduate qualification is essential, and a commitment to professional growth and inclusion is key, as is the ability to teach on at least one of the programme modules.
