Teaching Assistant in the Critical Care Medicine Unit
School of Clinical Medicine (Ref. 530107)

Applications are invited for appointment as Teaching Assistant in the Critical Care Medicine Unit (22800).

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree, along with at least 5 years of full-time work experience in administration, preferably within tertiary institutions. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is essential.

The appointee is expected to work closely with executives from the Teaching & Learning team to coordinate teaching activities and clinical attachments. Responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, assisting in tutorials, organizing courses, and coordinating professoriate visits and lectures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in computer applications. It is essential to work effectively under pressure, both independently and collaboratively within a team. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining a keen attention to detail.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
