Position Overview: MARI-SPACE seeks a dynamic and innovative Assistant Professor specializing in avionics systems and flight control systems. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service activities related to these systems. This role offers an opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and collaborate with leading experts in the field. 

Key Responsibilities:
Research: Investigate advanced avionics systems, flight control systems, navigation technologies, autopilot systems, and electronic warfare capabilities. Explore innovations in sensors, actuators, flight instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and communication systems for aircraft and spacecraft. Develop and enhance avionics components and systems, including integrating avionics with guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms. Focus on advancing autonomous flight technologies and mission planning.

Teaching: Offer undergraduate and graduate courses in avionics, control systems, and related subjects. Supervise student research and projects in these areas.

Collaboration: Engage in interdisciplinary research and collaborate with industry and academic partners. Contribute to research funding applications and grant proposals.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field. Proven expertise in avionics systems, control systems, and navigation technologies. A strong publication record and a well-defined research agenda. Demonstrated teaching experience and ability to develop and deliver course content. Strong collaborative skills and capability to work with diverse research teams.
