About the role
The Specialist, Donor Relations helps maintain positive and productive institutional relationships between current and future donors and supporters by acting as an interface between them and UNE stakeholders and operations. Other duties include implementation of UNE’s annual fundraising program and prospect research. This role also works with other university stakeholders to ensure donor funds are used effectively and that donor generosity is properly acknowledged.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in delivering effective donor relations programs and knowledge of contemporary advancement and fundraising principles within schools and/or the higher education sector.
- Experience in managing professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in coordinating development projects and programs, including demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of database and customer relationship management systems as well as proven experience handling sensitive and personal information in a confidential and appropriate manner.
