Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham’s CASE (Centre for Academic Skills and English) team, who play a crucial role in the development of students’ academic skills. You’ll be working to support our diverse students by helping them develop their academic skills.

You will be joining University College Birmingham as it enters an exciting period, including a growth in courses and the ongoing development of world-class facilities.

You will provide 1:1 academic support for HE students, in addition to delivering bespoke academic skills support for groups/ in workshops.

You will have experience of supporting students from a wide variety of background with their academic skills in an HE educational setting and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also contribute to the development of our high-quality online support packages. As such, you will need experience of Virtual Learning Environments, and software packages used to design engaging self-study materials.
