We are recruiting for a Student Wellbeing Outreach Team Leader within our Student Wellbeing Team.
The Student Wellbeing Team offer services that include: a 24/7 Open Door drop-in service, wellbeing workshops and events; a team of wellbeing practitioners, including specialist support for sexual violence and harassment and self-help resources.
The role of Wellbeing Outreach Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of Advisors, who work across a variety of shifts. They will be responsible for providing escalation, guidance and support for complex student wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
This permanent full- time post is offered working 35 hours a week. This pattern will be 3 on 3 off where the hours will be 09:30 – 20:30 (includes weekend working).
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of line management, including staff development, coaching and performance management
- The ability to support and lead a team
- The ability to quickly develop relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues from across the University
- Proven experience of successfully supporting colleagues within a both proactive and reactive environment
