What you need to succeed

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  1. A doctoral qualification or equivalent in a relevant area with proven leadership and achievement at a senior level.
  2. Proven academic leadership and senior management experience, with demonstrated ability to implement learning and teaching initiatives and ensure high-quality program delivery including in student led Health Clinics and student support services.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage a multidisciplinary portfolio of research activity, and lead initiatives focused on enabling research performance and impact.
  4. Strong strategic planning and operational management skills, business acumen and a proven record of budget, resource and risk management at a senior level.
  5. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate, consult, negotiate and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the University.
  6. Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to think creatively, introduce innovation and change and incorporate principles of diversity and inclusivity.
  7. Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external parties to deliver a program of student engagement activity and identify strategic and business development opportunities partnering with relevant industries, professions or institutions at the local and international levels.
