Position overview

The ANU Library seeks an experienced, motivated and resourceful professional with excellent technical abilities and strong problem-solving skills to develop and optimise library systems and online services.

This role works with a variety of SIS (Scholarly Information Services) and ITS staff on various projects and initiatives providing advice and assistance to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to the division. The role is in a team that is responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting for the Library Management System (Alma, Leganto, Primo VE, Rapido, Rialto) and related software and hardware.

The ANU Library services are a vital part of the university's operation. There are five libraries: Art & Music, JB Chifley, Law, Menzies, WK Hancock and an offsite print repository. The collection is extensive with over 3.3 million bibliographic records with approximately 1.5 million print titles. There are around 50,000 print loans and 6.8 million digital uses of the collection and 1 million visits to the library each year.
