Student Systems Team – Student Administration & Academic Affairs
An opportunity has arisen to join the University’s Student Systems Team on a 24 month fixed term contract, working with colleagues across the institution to shape the future of the University’s Student Record System.
As an experienced training manager, you will have the skills and expertise to plan and deliver training for a programme of modernisation and development. In this role you will be part of our Banner programme team, working with a range of technical specialists and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
What you’ll do:
- Apply your specialist expertise to develop and deliver training for the Banner student record system.
- Develop an understanding of the training needs of our user community and employ the most appropriate methods for delivering effective systems training to meet workstream objectives.
- Working as part of the Student Systems Team, you’ll report to the Banner Training Lead.
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to deliver training which aligns with programme milestones, deliverables and outcomes, effectively building users’ competence and confidence in the use of systems.
- Experience of analysing situations and an ability to work systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications and make informed decisions on courses of actions.
- An understanding of training tools, methodologies, and models.
