  • The Opportunity

    As the Manager, International Partnerships, you’ll lead our International Partnerships and Global Mobility teams, playing a key role in advancing UniSC’s Strategic Plan. You'll have the chance to shape our international strategy by assessing exciting partnership opportunities, managing grants, and ensuring exceptional quality and compliance. Your role will be central to developing and implementing key frameworks, including the International Partnership Management Framework and Global Mobility Strategy, while driving continuous improvement in our processes and systems. You’ll engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, manage high-profile international delegations, and lead a dedicated team committed to expanding our global reach and enhancing learning abroad programs.     You will

  • craft and execute strategies to evaluate, build, and strengthen international partnerships, driving global growth and impact;
  • lead the International Partnerships team in maximising both new and existing opportunities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and effectiveness in our partnerships and agreements; and
  • direct the Global Mobility team to boost participation in learning abroad programs, enhance grant acquisition, and manage risks effectively.
  • About you

You’re skilled in evaluating and recommending international partnerships that align with our Strategic Plan, ensuring they drive meaningful growth. Your expertise extends to securing and managing grants, overseeing high-quality programs, and navigating contracts and risks with expertise. You excel in cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in policies and processes, and leading your teams with a commitment to innovation and excellence.

    You will possess:

  • Experience in crafting and executing strategic plans, policies, and frameworks, with a focus on implementing performance metrics and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and forge international partnerships, including conducting thorough due diligence and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Successful track record in securing and managing government grants, ideally for learning abroad programs, with a keen eye for compliance, reporting, and financial oversight.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, representation, and relationship management, with a commitment to cross-cultural collaboration and the ability to use initiative and influence for strategic success.
  • Extensive experience in managing contracts with international partners, ensuring legal compliance, and effectively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead, inspire, and develop teams while managing individual projects with efficiency.
  • In-depth understanding of the Australian and international higher education sectors, including governance and internationalisation issues (such as ESOS and TEQSA).
