Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Practitioner in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 528894) (to commence on as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery or equivalent.  They should demonstrate sound clinical experience; have a good track record of continuing professional education or hold a Master of Dental Surgery degree or equivalent; and be fluent in Cantonese and English, knowledge in minority languages is an advantage.  Experience in providing outreach dental services to children would be desirable.  

The appointees will assist the Project Manager in the management and operation of the Jockey Club Children Oral Health Project; provide outreach dental services for pre-school children; emergency treatment for pain relief; evaluate the impact and develop research related to dental service; deliver oral health education talks and training to parents and teachers; provide individual counselling to pre-school children and their parents; and perform other duties as assigned.  Working off-campus and outside normal office hours and on weekends are required.  Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to Professor C.H.
