Due to a career break, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Research team within our Operations and Planning section of the Directorate.

We seek to recruit a part-time temporary Assistant Researcher to support the Research Officer to advance the University's development plans through the provision of in-depth research of potential donors and alumni to priority projects as appropriate.

The part time working hours are 18.5 hours per week, with a working pattern to be mutually agreed.

About the person:

The successful candidate will require:

A minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grades A-C including English Language.
A minimum of 1 year's recent relevant experience (within the last 5 years) of working in a research role.
Experience of conducting desk research, and experience of compiling reports detailing research findings in a clear and concise manner as well as in a specified timescale.
Experience in the use of online resources and an awareness of the different search techniques e.g Boolean search.
