The Position
This is a key role for a technical officer with in physics, mathematics, and experience in noble gas mass spectrometry.
The Technical Officer will be a member of Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES). RSES is Australia’s leading academic research institution for Earth and Marine Sciences, and ranked 11th in the world for Earth and Marine Sciences (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023). To excel in this role the technical officer will need a background in physics, mathematics, applicable computer coding and experience in noble gas mass spectrometry and hands-on laboratory experience in this field.
Your ability to lead by example, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to foster respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues at all levels within RSES in line with the RSES Culture Statement.
