The Student Hub are seeking a passionate and motivated Student Hub Coordinator. 

You will be responsible for case managing students with multi-faceted or complex circumstances ensuring that all barriers to their student success are removed, providing proactive support through whatever means the students feel comfortable with.  You will act as a point of contact for student who require support on a range of subjects including fees and funding, accommodation, academic progression, wellbeing and Disability and Inclusion, supporting them through their student journey and liaising with specialist services and stakeholders to ensure they are receiving the right support tailored to their circumstances. You will be responsible for early intervention support using the data collected via the University MyEngagement software working with other specialist teams to re-engage students.

The role requires the successful candidate to work on a rotating 7 hour shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00.  You will be expected to work flexibly across the Student Hubs at Highfield and Winchester School of Art.

About you

The successful candidate will bring a knowledge of higher education, student support and issues affecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable. We are looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail, able to prioritise well and manage often multiple tasks and deadlines. You will have experience of, and be able to demonstrate resilience when dealing with sensitive personal information. A successful Student Hub Co-ordinator will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, as well as a competency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems. The successful candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships.
