Through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Programme, MCKEE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS LTD in partnership with Queen's University Belfast have an exciting employment opportunity for a graduate to work on a project to develop, validate and embed a new smart accelerated design process. The project will make use of advanced 3D scanning, AR/VR and factory simulation technologies to increase precision, efficiency, productivity and profitability.

About the person:

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Engineering graduate to work in McKee Engineering Solutions Ltd, Unit 25, Glenavy Road Business Park, 20 Glenavy Road, Moira Co. Armagh, BT67 0LT on a 24month collaborative project with Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) at Queen's.

The successful candidate will become part of a team within MCKEE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS LTD. McKee Engineering Solutions provide engineering machinery and plant equipment design and installation services, primarily in NI and ROI. We are expanding our services and wish to make greater use of digital design technologies to streamline our processes and offer enhanced services to existing and new clients.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or closely related disciplines.
  • Have a high degree of competence in the use 3D-CAD.
  • Have a good knowledge of engineering design.
  • An understanding of advanced manufacturing processes.
