About the Opportunity
This new position will be supporting Flinders University’s MBA program in 2025 with a specific focus on community building and personalised experiences for the students. This position will be crucial in building the online community and support for the online MBA, in addition to contributions to the current MBA product suite.
With a primary focus on teaching and teaching-related activities within the College of Business Government and Law, the Associate Lecturer, Business is responsible for contributing to the preparation and delivery of selected topics within the Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degree as well as contributing to the planning, preparation, delivery and support of the Online Master in Business Administration degree, using innovations in teaching practices and technologies, with support and guidance from a more senior academic.
This includes (but is not limited to): direct teaching informed by approaches that enhance the student experience; curriculum design and review; delivery innovation; utilising advancements in education technologies; and contributing towards maintaining internal and external compliance and accreditation of courses. The position is also expected to make an independent contribution to high-quality university, professional and community service, but does not include making a research contribution.
