We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Veterinary Educator to join our team and be involved in transforming how we educate future Veterinarians. 

This position is based on the Manawatū campus in Palmerston North, and is a full-time (nominally 37.5 hours) permanent position.

As a Lecturer or a Senior Lecturer, you will play a role in implementing our competency-based curriculum framework and designing and implementing assessment strategies that provide feedback to the students throughout their learning. You will also collaborate closely with other staff to ensure our educational programs meet the evolving needs of the Veterinary profession.

The role requires the following:

Someone who will foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement, critical thinking, and professional growth A successful track record of tertiary teaching in a Veterinary programme is highly desirable A Veterinary degree (BVSc or equivalent) is essential and must be registerable with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand The salary range for this role is at a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer grade (for 2024), ranging from $81,172 - $143,948 (NZD). Salary will be negotiable by background/experience.
