Duties and Responsibilities

  • coordinate clinical studies and trials
  • manage and analyse large clinical biobank datasets
  • be exposed to ample opportunities in developing an academic career
  • perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related disciplines, preferably with at least 1 year's of post-qualification experience
  • experience in clinical research, epidemiological data analysis of large datasets using R and/or STATA
  • strong Biomedical Science and quantitative background
  • demonstrated abstract concepts in an accessible way to all organizational levels
  • good communication and data visualization skills
  • self-motivated, scientifically mature, attentive to details
  • ability to acquire new biostatistical techniques by self-learning
  • able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • proficiency in Mendelian Randomization research is highly preferred
  • laboratory skills, track records of publications and grants would be advantageous

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 to 3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
