About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to focus on expanding their teaching, research, and service profile. In this role, you will contribute to the development of new programs and course materials within the discipline area and teach across various settings. There will be opportunities to develop an independent research program or contribute to a team-based one. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high standard of teaching, learning, educational design, and delivery.
- Undertaking research activities that align with the Facultys research profile and priorities.
- Engaging in relevant community and professional activities that support and enhance the University and Facultys profile and priorities.
About you
Applicants should possess a PhD in Nursing or a related field, along with unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and a growing profile in teaching and research. You will bring evidence of quality teaching in a university setting and an interest in engaging with digital technologies to enhance student access and learning opportunities. Additionally, you will have:
- A track record in scholarship, evidenced by research grants and publication output, with the ability to collaborate with research partners.
- Demonstrated high-level international skills to collaborate with research partners, relevant professional bodies, and/or community groups.
At Level C, candidates are expected to have national recognition in the discipline area, with a strong record in course coordination and the development and innovation of new programs, curriculum design, and course materials in the discipline area.
Salary and benefits

- Full-time, continuing (permanent)
- Located at our Gold Coast campus. Generous relocation support available.
- Academic Level C or B, commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.
- Academic Level C: The base salary ranges from $128, 427 -$147,663 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $172,765.
- Academic Level B: The base salary ranges from $105,344 - $124,585 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $145,764.
