About the Fellowship
Named in honor of Professor Marilyn Anderson, a pioneering female biochemist, this Fellowship provides a unique platform to conduct groundbreaking multidisciplinary research. You will lead and manage innovative projects, mentor upcoming scientists, and collaborate with top-tier researchers nationally and internationally. This is your chance to make significant contributions to molecular science and shape the future of research.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact research and produce influential publications
- Manage large research teams and projects
- Secure and manage research funding
- Mentor and develop junior researchers
- Foster partnerships with industry and government stakeholders
Essential Criteria
- PhD in a relevant field and significant research experience
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Proven leadership in research and project management
- Successful track record in securing research funding
- Commitment to mentoring and staff development
You will preferably be highly skilled in multidisciplinary molecular research in areas of strategic importance to LIMS. This includes but is not limited to technology areas such as biosensors, digital biology, synthetic biology, and space biology, as well as areas of health impact such as cancer, infection and immunity, and cardiovascular biology.
