The Private University of Economics and Technology (PHWT) Vechta/Diepholz, invites applications for a
Professorship in General Business Administration (m/f/d)
for its campus in Vechta.
We expect a deepened focus on at least two of the following fields:
Business Management Agribusiness Logistics Digitalisation Software Engineering Artificial Intelligence PHWT offers degree apprenticeships (mostly bachelor’s), for which the university cooperates with roughly 200 companies from the wider region. Professors are expected to represent their fields in both research and teaching and participate actively in the university’s self-administration. Our close collaboration with partnering companies offers many opportunities, also for research but requires a high level of commitment too.
Appointments are subject to § 25 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act, which besides a PHD and relevant publications requires at least 3 years of professional experience outside of university. Details about the denomination and the appointment procedure can be obtained from Prof. Dr. Andreas Eiselt, Email: eiselt@phwt.de.
This is a permanent position. German dominates as language of tuition however, lectures in fluent English are possible too and candidates that are prepared to learn German are encouraged to apply. Please send your application with meaningful documents, indication of fields you focus on and your list of publications by mail and as one single PDF to the President, Prof. Dr. Dennis De, praesidium@phwt.de by latest September 30th 2024. Further information about our university can be found under www.phwt.de.
