Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the History of Medicine within School of History. 5 years
The School of History is seeking to appoint a lecturer to a five-year post in the Modern History of Medicine (Global History/Colonial History). The School seeks to expand its teaching provision and research expertise in modern global/colonial medical history and the successful candidate will play a key role in developing these teaching initiatives and pursue their own research projects. The successful candidate will be expected to be in post for the 2024/25 Spring trimester (January 2025).
The School particularly welcomes applications from historians with a focus on South/Southeast/East Asia/Africa, including knowledge of relevant languages for research and supervisions.
95 Lecturer/Asst Professor (Above the Bar) Salary Scale: €62,233 - €98,548 Per Annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
