Role Description

The School is seeking an individual who can deliver teaching and learning activities in the areas of both Leadership and Organizational Behaviour (OB).

About the Role

As the UK’s only exclusively postgraduate university, Cranfield’s world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships is creating leaders in technology and management globally. Our distinctive expertise is in our deep understanding of technology and management and how these work together to benefit the world.

This post will be positioned within the Organizational Behaviour & Applied Psychology Group. The School of Management has long been recognised as a leading centre of excellence for Organizational Behaviour and Applied (Organizational) Psychology teaching and learning. For example it has never been out of the FT ranking of the “top of their class” Top 10 (in the world by subject) and was ranked #1 globally in 2015.

About You

You will provide teaching in the fields of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour as well as leading modules and designing and developing teaching material. This post will be offered on either the Education & Scholarship track or the Research & Teaching track depending on the successful candidate’s previous track record. Those on the Research & Teaching track are also expected to develop their own research interests and reputation.

You will be educated to doctoral level (or professional equivalent) in a relevant subject and preferably will have already developed some experience of teaching in this field. You might also have publications and conference presentations. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to collaborate effectively with academics, practitioners and policy makers. Experience of teaching and leading modules at post-graduate level is desirable.

In return, you will have exciting opportunities for career development in this key position, while joining a supportive team and environment and contributing to this growing area of importance within the School. At Cranfield we value Diversity and Inclusion and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential.
