Applications are invited for a Specified Purpose (est. 3 years) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Migration History within UCD School of History. Temp.

The School of History is seeking to appoint a lecturer to a three-year post in modern migration History. The School has recently expanded its teaching provision and research expertise in global and migration history. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing these teaching initiatives, pursue their own research projects and act as the academic lead on the School's Summer School. The successful candidate will be expected to be in post for the 2024/25 Spring trimester (January 2025).

The post is funded via the ERC Consolidator Grant `SOS' (PI: Associate Professor Irial Glynn).

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar : € 62,233 - € 98,548 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.

Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 6th of September 2024.
