Job Details
Applications are invited for a Permanent part time (0.4FTE) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in General Practice within UCD School of Medicine (plus 12 month panel).
The UCD School of Medicine is continuing to expand the delivery of General Practice teaching and research within its programme. The purpose of this post is to support teaching and research in the subject - especially its contribution to the Medicine degree programme and its collaboration with a network of research active practices in the region.
The post involves teaching and support of General Practice specific modules and the postholder will support the establishment of clinical placements at general practices and contribute to clinical teaching at these sites and to the medical degree programme generally in the subject area. The post holder will contribute to teaching and learning, curriculum development of the undergraduate programme and to academic leadership in general. The post holder will further the development of the School and foster collaboration between the subject of General Practice in UCD and with other disciplines both within UCD and nationally.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €62,233 - €98,548 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.4FTE
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 9th of August 2024.
